//A walk in the French Burgundy with Vinos Casa Santi

It’s a real pleasure to present new wines and tastes to discover or just as a reminder. Now, Vinos Casa Santi has the pleasure to rescue some of the most important wines from the French Burgundy. Red and White wines that, undoubtedly will be kept and remembered. We invite you to walk with us in the French Burgundy…

Let’s start with White wines. A selection of six wines that one by one will surround us with their characteristics and peculiarities, remarking shortly and essential tasting notes. Domaine Leflaive Bienvenue Batard-Montrachet 2011 is very balanced wine with nutty and Stone fruit flavours, subtle, well knit and gentle but with fresh acidity in the background.

Secondly, we find Matrot Mersault Charmes 2013. It brings Straw yellow color with Golden hues. On the nose, it is floral and presents citrus flavors. On palate, mineral, lemons and Apple flavors… A real pleasure for our senses.

Here comes another great wine in our walk in the French Burgundy, Roulot Meursault Les tessons Clos de Mon Plaisir 2005. This wine is focused and elegant with layers of dried yellow flowers and sweet peach fruit on the palate. It’s very much alive at its peak and beautiful to enjoy now.

But of course, it is impossible to forget another excellent wine such as Ramonet Chassagne Montrachet 1998. This wine started to open after an hour or two exuding very toasty nuts and hint of honey. Dark yellow amber in color with tertiary flavours for those who love older wines…

Now, we are tasting Bonneau Du Martray C. Charlmagne 2014. The relatively pale yellow color is intact and still has some Green nuances. The aroma is austere, a bit closed and certainly not graceful, with its notes of silica, suffused balsamic sensations and sitinct scents of almonds.

This is the last White wine from our selection at the French Burgundy… It is Etienne Sauzet Pulgny Montrachet 1er Cru Les Combettes 2005. Flavors are delicate yet intense with layers of White flowers, sweet peach fruit and fine acidity with a long finish.

Of course, every wine is available in the website home page as well as social media and our wine shop, located in Gregorio Marañón s/n in Marbella… Contact us on 951 968 914 or send us an email to info@vinoscasasanti.com You are welcome.
